To process your financial services referral request, Corporate Life Insurance may collect your name, phone number, email address, postcode and other details relevant to the type of service you are requesting.

This information is used to facilitate your referral to a participating third-party broker, lender, insurer or other provider. Corporate Life Insurance, on behalf of Clark Family Pty Ltd, will ordinarily provide your enquiry to a participating provider selected through our referral network so that they can contact you directly and provide the services you have requested.

We may also disclose information where reasonably necessary to administer your referral, respond to your enquiry, meet our legal or regulatory obligations, investigate a complaint, or manage the operation and compliance of our referral service.

We may also receive information from participating brokers, lenders, insurers or other providers about the progress or outcome of an enquiry, application or referral, including through secure electronic systems or APIs. We may use this information for purposes connected with administering the referral, customer service, quality assurance, record keeping, remuneration or referral reconciliation, complaint handling, and compliance or regulatory reporting.

If you do not provide the personal information we request, we may not be able to assist you with your referral or process your enquiry.

Disclosure of Personal Information

We may disclose your personal information to participating brokers, lenders, insurers or other providers where necessary to facilitate the referral or service you have requested. We may also disclose personal information where reasonably necessary to administer our referral service, respond to an enquiry or complaint, comply with legal or regulatory obligations, or engage service providers that assist us in operating our business.

Participating providers are required to handle personal information provided through our referral service in accordance with applicable privacy laws and the requirements governing their participation in our referral network.

We do not currently disclose personal information to overseas recipients. If our information-handling practices change and personal information is likely to be disclosed to recipients outside Australia, we will update this Privacy Policy as required.

Please note: Once you are referred to a third-party broker, lender, insurer or other provider, that provider's own privacy policy and terms will apply to information you subsequently provide directly to them.
